Frequently Asked Questions About Crime Stoppers

Does Crime Stoppers want information about drug dealers?2021-04-07T14:30:28-05:00

Yes. Contact Crime Stoppers and give whatever information you have about the drug dealer and you will be assigned a code number. If a felony arrest is made you will be given a reward.

Can I still give a tip if the person that is wanted is now living in another city or state?2021-04-07T14:30:08-05:00

Yes. Sometimes felony warrants have no extradition limit on them. This means we can pick them up if they are living in another city or state.

What if I miss my pay off for this month?2021-04-07T14:29:46-05:00

If for some reason you cannot collect your reward this month you will be able to collect it the following month.

How much will my reward be?2021-04-07T14:29:25-05:00

The Police Coordinator does not decide how much your reward will be. Each case is presented to the Crime Stoppers Board and they decide how much the reward will be.

How do I know if I’m eligible for a reward?2021-04-07T14:29:03-05:00

All you have to do is contact Crime Stoppers, with your assigned code number, and the Police Coordinator will let you know if you’re going to receive a reward.

Should I worry that my personal information will be made public?2021-04-07T14:28:08-05:00

No. We never ask for your name, address or phone number. Also, the Crime Stopper phone line doesn’t have caller ID and it isn’t a recorded line.
