The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week.
Over the past several weeks there have been numerous burglaries in Decatur to various gaming parlors as well as restaurants with gaming machines.
These burglaries occur in the early morning hours and are often discovered by employees who observe forced entry to the business. In most of the burglaries the suspect will steal or attempt to steal cash located in the gaming machines.
The suspect in most of these burglaries appears to be a w/m, wearing black hooded shirt, and ski mask.

The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week.
On 01/01/2015, at approximately 3:00 A.M., a burglary occurred at Express Tobacco, 1101 N. Rt. 48. Suspects forced entry to the business and stole cigarettes. The suspects were driving an 80’s, silver in color truck, possibly a Dodge pickup. At this time, the suspects are unknown.

News Release 1/14/15
The Decatur Department needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week.
Sometime between 5:00pm on January 6th and 8:30am on January 7th, unknown subject(s) gained access to a secured location in Progress City at Richland Community College. Once inside the secured location, subject(s) stole two side by side, Kubota utility terrain vehicles. Both vehicles are black and orange in color. At this time, there are no suspect(s).

The Decatur Department needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week.
On January 3rd, at approximately 5:00pm an armed robbery occurred at the Dollar General located at 985 W. Pershing Rd, in which a small amount of U. S. currency was taken. The suspect was a black male wearing all black clothing and had a scarf covering his face. The suspect also displayed a handgun during the robbery.
