The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week.
On 02/16/2015, at approximately 4:18 P.M., a forgery occurred at Walgreen’s, 1311 N. Rt. 48. Two suspects one an Hispanic male, 35-40 years of age, approximately 6’00 foot, medium build, short brown hair and goatee passed a fake $100.00 dollar bill to the cashier. The other suspect an Hispanic female 30-45 years of age, approximately 5’05, medium build and long Black hair attempted to pass another fake $100.00 bill to a separate cashier, and was unsuccessful. This type of forgery has occurred on other occasions and all businesses are encouraged to be on the lookout for subjects attempting to pass fake bills.
The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving this crime. If you have any information about this crime, please call Crime Stoppers at 423-TIPS. You do not have to give your name. Crime Stoppers will pay $500 or more for information that leads to an arrest on the crime of the week. Crime Stoppers will also pay cash for information that leads to an arrest of any person responsible for a felony crime in Macon County.
